Why does the sculpture of Bobu appear different?
The straightforward answer is that they all represent Bobu. In the creation of this character, I deconstructed my memories and experiences, using them as references and elements to shape the character's appearance. The repetitive process of creating this character provides me with a continuous experience of mental time travel, allowing me to reflect on my past, observe the present, and envision the future. Bobu serves as a medium connecting my past, present, and future.
As an interesting fact, the name is inspired by the bouba/kiki effect.
