The idea behind making the Tarot cards is to reflect that we humans have always been interested in predicting what will happen. The name of each card relates to the content of the text. For example, the card Death was inspired by two definitions of extinction in “The Future of Humanity.” According to Nick Bostrom, extinction means becoming another species or dying. Furthermore, The death card has two ways to inter- pret: end or rebirth.
The card Wheel of Fortune, the card itself represents the concept of change, which links with what Michio Kaku mentioned in the interview, the change brought by the technological revolution. He proposes hypotheses on achieving biological and digital immortality in future scenarios.
